Fast attendance taking: Scan student cards with your phone

Using the latest Edana Staff app update, you can now take attendance by scanning student cards using only your phone.

On your Edana Staff app, tap on My Learning Space and choose the appropriate term. You can record attendance for Classes, Subjects, Activities and House/Tutor Groups. After choosing your category and tapping on the Attendance header, you would be able to see the Scan icon on the top.

Tap the Scan button and choose the method of data collection among Barcode, QR code, and NFC.

Just as fast, you can start scanning student ID cards and enjoy automatic attendance taking.

If your institution hasn’t implemented a student ID card with Barcode or QR code integration yet, Ed-admin can help you every step of the way. Use your Client Portal to raise a ticket and you will be able to order your student ID card with your own design and structure.
